Visiting London

2018

I always enjoyed meeting up with Rob when he visited London - usually to see an exhibition.  On one occasion the two of us spent some time at the British Museum where there were very definitely some exhibits he wanted to see.

When we sorting through Rob's belongings we came across a number of Lewis Chess Men replicas.  They reminded me of our trip and highlighted his love of the game and exploring history.

Rob always asked after us and his nephews.  When organising a family trip to the Picasso Exhibition his first question was whether we'd be going to meet them.

I'll remember him as someone who wanted to include and be part of his family and for that he'll be greatly missed.
